Math-ster Chef Junior Food Prep Day

Team Enterprise has been working hard on their PBL unit, Math-ster Chef Junior. They found and adjusted recipes using multiplication and division with fractions. They also created a shopping list using addition of fractions with unlike denominators. They planned a meal to make and serve to a valued member of our school community.

Food prep day was scheduled for Tuesday at 2/12 at Central High School. Due to ANOTHER snow day this had to be cancelled. So yesterday Mr. Pollard's classroom became Team Enterprise's kitchen. Groups worked together to chop, bake, saute, grill, and fry to make their meals. They did an incredible job, taking the work seriously and acting responsibly.

I was not able to stay for the meal but it sounds like it was a great success! Way to go Math-ster Chefs.
